My exciting book deal and a three book Giveaway




 I'm so happy to announce that I've sold my YA Cyberpunk, AWAKENING in a three book deal to Liz Pelletier of Entangled Publishing. *Throws confetti and spins as it cascades over me.*
The announcement in PM will follow, but I couldn't wait to share my happy news! I kinda feel like a little kid right now and if you could see my face, it probably looks something like this: 


(except a lot older, lol). I've met Liz in person a couple of times and not only is she awesomesauce, but I think she's a fabulous editor and I love her taste in books--and ahhh, I get to be included in that. *faints.* I don't know the release date as of yet, but it will be released through a new imprint of Entangled called Entangled DigiTEEN which is one of the new imprints that fall under the distribution merger with Macmillians/St. Martin'sPress. 

 So that's my good news. Now if you know me, I never like to go on about happy news for me without sharing some goodness for you guys too!

 So here's what you can win:

    Such awesome news, Shannon! Love to know more about this story. I loved cyberpunk growing up, so seeing something new is always a good thing.

    Wow! I’m so happy for Gaby on winning this contest! Anyway, I’m curious if the winner was selected randomly. I think it’s gonna be more fun and exciting if you added some twists in the contest; like giving the participants a certain task. What do you think?
