News and book giveaway--Two and Twenty Dark Tales: Dark Retellings of Mother Goose Rhymes

It's been mad, crazy hectic for me lately. As usual. My middle grade Fantasy novel, Gabriel Stone and the Divinity of Valta comes out January 1st, *Woot* and every day the date draws closer, my heart beats a little faster. It's so amazing to see this story come to life and hit the pages. Lots of things planned in the works for that--giveaways, book signings, etc. Hey, if you want, you can check it out on Goodreads.
I'm also working on the sequel to that story, titled, Gabriel Stone and the Wrath of the Solarians and am about half-way done. Yay for that! It's a blast getting to write these characters again.

As if that wasn't enough  excitement, I am co-authoring an Adult Contemporary Romance Novella with the awesome Rachel Harris, author of My Super Sweet Sixteenth Century. She and I have been critique partners for about 2 years, she is my BFF, and soul sister. So even though this is the first time we've both co-written a book,  it's going awesomely!! The way it looks, we'll be done next week. Better news? It will be published in December. That's all I can say about this for now. More deets to follow about this puppy later. *insert happy dance here.*

Then...then...I've been thinking about a concept for a new plot to start writing when I'm done writing Gabriel Stone 2. I had some thoughts I've been tossing around in my overactive brain, and then today it just hit me. Like Pow! Something big. Something awesome. Something that excites the hell out of me. Something that made me go. "Holy crap!" Then I madly sent my agent, Lauren Hammond, a text right away. She basically said, "Holy crap!!" too.
It'll mean lots of research and plotting and scheming. *insert evil laugh here.*  So yeah, mad-crazy, but loving it. =)

On that note of writing and my good news, I'd like to share some good stuff your way! Because that's how I roll. I love all of you readers. Whether you've read Spectral or not, it doesn't matter. Whatever your taste is in reading, readers rock. Period.

  1. I don't know why but I love it when someone does re-tellings of children stories and makes them dark. I would love to have this book and add it to my collection. :) Thanks for giving me the chance to hopefully win a copy. TwistedPixie7@gmail.com
