My exciting publishing news!

Right now I'm still in a state of awe. A space of fuzz, like 'did I finally do it and cross into the land of the published??' Anyone who is a writer and on any part of this journey will know exactly how I feel. So first off, let me just shout it out and say that my YA Paranormal Romance, SPECTRAL, will be published by the amazing Tribute Books!


 I'm so honored they loved my book enough to publish it, and it feels amazing and humbling all wrapped up together. Speaking of wrapped up, what a Christmas present, right?

 I've always loved to read and I started out writing little bits of poetry for fun and expression, until one day I decided to write a book for my son...and the writing  bug continued to grow until now it's a part of me. But I didn't know I would end up being published. Yes, I dreamed and imagined of course. So, really, who says dreams can't come true? *claps hands, happy dance*

 So, right now, I'm in the exciting process of the book cover/ book trailer design and developing a website. Busy but so fun, and honestly...surreal! Oh! and my novel is scheduled for release April 10th/12.

Special thanks to my agent Lauren Hammond at ADA management who is amazing in every way possible and a bucket full of sunshine. Seriously, if you've ever talked to her, that's exactly what she's like. Also, to the incredible people who I've met on this journey either on Twitter or through the blogs--thanks for the friendship! Especially these writers and friends of awesome who make me smile, and to a couple in particular, without you, I know this dream wouldn't be coming true:  Rachel, Trisha, Georgia, Brenda, Kelly, Julia. And to Nicole at Tribute books who was willing to take a chance on me and my story--a huge thank you! You're amazing. =)

So, that's my big happy news and Christmas cheer in my life that I wanted to share. What awesomeness is going on in your life that is making you bubble over with excitement?

Merry Christmas to each and every one of you. I hope in the New Year all of your hopes and dreams come true. Don't ever stop dreaming!
