I love the concept for this book. I child having to choose who she wants to be, which is not unlike decisions children are faced with today. But with the added stress of the wrong choice being dire and also not seeing your family ever again.

This concept is important to explore. It's a good thing it's in this book. One the one hand, how much stock should we place in what other's tell us. We're bombarded by the news telling us basically what they want to. They all have agendas. They could cause any number of outlandish deleriums. The other concept about what pens you is also important... mental and emotional pens can be just as dangerous as geographical pens.

+2 Those vlogs just make me MORE excited about reading those books. The thing about making love a disease is brilliant! And having to choose ONE thing to be your whole life? Leaving your family The main characters sound very strong. I'm looking forward to reading those famous titles. :))

  4. +6 for me, yay!

I love the way Veronica talks about her characters on her video. It convinces me that they are fully developed and that the story is one I'll enjoy not just for the storyline, but for that as well!

Lauren's epiphany about love based off the quote makes for an awesome core for a book! That gets me excited about Delirium!

+2 I love the trailers. Veronica Roth talking about DIVERGENT is so fun. Makes me want to eat it up. I can't wait to read Delerium. People have said it is a terrific book.
So get this. I got my hands on an ARC of DIVERGENT for a giveaway, and I didn't read it for not wanting to bend or ruin the book for the winner. I tell you. It was tough not to read it.

    6 points total.

    Thanks for the contest.

somehow my barnes and noble must have goofed because i held this book over the weekend. (the ONLY reason i didn't buy it on the spot is i was saving it to reward myself for when my wip is done.) apparently divergent wasn't supposed to come out until today. ?? christy

+2 comment: I totally love these videos where authors talk about their books! Ive been looking forward to reading both these dystopian novels for a while now so Im thoroughly excited about these giveaway. And I love what Veronica said about her book, she gave such a fancy description, lol. Also, I am pretty curious about this Peter character. As for Delirium, the video only confirms the crazy but true fact: people get the best ideas in the most bizarre situations, lol. Cant imagine how can somebody consider love a disease, thats why Im so thrilled about this book.

+2 comment on the video: I was swooning while I was watching Veronica Roth's interview. I think its unusual and brave for her to choose Peter as her favorite character, but that's just extraordinary. And I love Lauren Oliver and truly, sometimes ideas for stories just pop up out of nowhere like what she said. Loved how she came up w/ Delirium's plot though.
